Assad sets conference conditions

The Syrian president Bashar al-Asses said that the Syrian government will not attend at the Middle East peace conference unless the occupied Golan Heights is a topic of the meeting. Assad said that Syria has received an invitation. The meeting will meanly go about the Israel and Palestinian conflict. Syria says that the occupied Golan Heights by Israel is important enough to be discussed. The invitation that Syria has received is as a member of the Arab league that is helping to the Palestinian conflict. So far Syria is still saying that they will not attend the meeting, if America and Israel refuse to talk about the Golan Heights.

My opinion
I think that Syria has the right to put a little pressure on the US, because there will be no peace in the Middle East if Syria cannot has is own ground back. US are only willing to solve a small conflict, and forget the real problem within the Middle East. I think that America and Israel should look at al the problems in the Middle East and try to do something about it. Syria and Israel are enemies of each other and I think that peace is still far away. I also think that America is not playing a good role within this conflict.

I think also, Syria has a right to refuse the invitation. How many years discuss the situations about Israel and Palestinian conflict? There is always no solution. And I think also that Syria has a great reason for not participating in discussions about the Israel and Palestinian conflict. Syria want discuss the occupied Golan Heights.

Enough conferences, but not enough solutions. That’s the world.
